What is a highlighted contest?

A highlighted contest is one where its listing is always highlighted with a different colour on the contest listings page. A highlighted contest is a great tool for not only making a contest stand out among hundreds of contests and but also attracting designers to participate in the contest.

A highlighted contest:

• is highlighted with a different color on the contest listing page.
• gets 20% more designs as per our analysis of thousands of contests. 

You can activate this feature through two ways:

1. While launching any design contest, you can add the Highlight Contest upgrade under the "Promote Contest" section. 

2. Once your contest has been launched, you can click on the "Upgrade" button below your contest name. A popup will open, through that you can choose the Highlight contest upgrade and make the payment to activate this feature. 

Once a contest is made highlighted contest, it will remain highlighted throughout and can not be removed once it’s activated.
