How can I add or delete designs from my designer portfolio?

You can manage your Portfolio and showcase the designs you have created on Designhill — either for contests or 1- to-1 projects (My Portfolio > Create Portfolio). This space lets you show off your expertise and skillsets, going through which clients consider whether or not you're the right designer for their specific design projects.

But you can’t add a design to your portfolio from a private contest or without obtaining the client’s nod in a 1 -1 project.  

Steps to add a design to your portfolio

1. Click the 'Create Portfolio' button. It will take you to the 'My Portfolio' page.

2. Click ‘Upload Design’ to upload your design to your portfolio. You can upload as many as 25 designs in a month.

3. Select the design you want to upload and drag and drop it in the white box. Then, give it a title and press 'Continue' to proceed.

Once the design is successfully uploaded, preview mode will appear, where you can use our cropping tool to give your design a more polished look.

4. Drag the black edges around the image and adjust it until you're satisfied. Preview can be seen in the 'Thumbnail Preview' box present on the left. Your design on the profile page will look the same.

5. Click on the ‘Continue’ button to see the final version.

6. Press ‘Continue’ and add details of your design in the space provided. (Note: This information will help viewers understand the design better. Also, it will help the design to be discovered on the design gallery page.)

You need to fill following details:

• Name of the design
• A description that defines your concept
• The right design category
• Multiple relevant tags for an improved searchability

7. After filling in all the details, click on the 'Publish' button to publish your design. Then, you'll have an option to share your design with your family and friends, post on Facebook, etc., a great way to reach out to the masses quickly.

How can I edit or remove a design from my portfolio

It's pretty simple! Click on the 'Create Portfolio' button to go to the 'My Portfolio' page.

You'll find a list of all designs that you have ever uploaded. Select the design you want to delete and click on the trash icon. You've successfully deleted a design. 

If you want to make changes to an already uploaded design, click on the pencil icon to open a pop-up. Make the required changes and press the ‘Save’ button. Your changes will be saved.
