How do I leave comments in my contest?

You can leave public comments for everyone who visits your contests, as well as private comments that can only be seen by the designer who created the design you’re commenting on.

You can leave comments in two ways, publically or privately. You can either leave private comments to individual designers on their designs or public comments to designers who are either participating in or watching your contest. 

1. Public announcements - By giving general comments about anything you want to say to everyone participating in and watching your contest. To do so, simply leave messages in the "Announcement and public discussion board" section which is at the bottom of your contest page. 

2. Private comments - This is the most important way of leaving feedback, as it allows you to interact with the designers and provide guidance. Tell designers if their design is going in the right direction, and how they can improve their submission.

You can leave private comments and feedback for individual designers in two ways:  

a) Click the chat bubble icon beneath an entry on the contest. A comment box will appear where you can leave a comment that only that designer will be able to see.

b) On the fullscreen view of each entry, you’ll see a comment box on the left side. Again, you can use this to communicate with the designer directly, and see any replies they send you.
