(i) Treat every member with respect, consideration and tolerance even if there is disagreement on any topic.
(ii) Stay focused to people and content that you like. It is easy to join another group or take people off your watchlist.
(iii) Treat people the way you want them to treat you.
(iv) If you cannot say anything nice to anyone, then don’t say anything at all.
Tips to resolve online conflict
- Give enough time to everyone to cool down before replying or responding.
- Think of possible language barriers, misunderstandings or mistaken humor.
- Consider how your response will help resolve a conflict.
Ask someone you don’t like or has offended you to stop contacting you. Ignore all the communications with them.
Do not really supporters, instead keep away from dispute and don’t get involved.
