You can submit as many designs as you wish to. There’s absolutely no limit on the number of entries you can submit to a contest. Likewise, a design contest on Designhill can receive unlimited design submissions.
But we have an initial design limit in place, which is extendable. The number of submissions that can be extended depends on the package clients have chosen while posting their contests.
The "Fast Track" contest has a limit that allows a designer to submit only four designs per contest. On the other hand, under other packages except “Fast Track,” designers can submit as many designs as they wish.
Typically, how many designs a contest will get entirely depends on the below factors:
- Clarity of the design brief
- Client’s feedback to the designers
Often designers participate in contests that have clear, well-written, and easy-to-understand design briefs and where clients provide helpful feedback for them.
How does limit-increase work for designers in a fast-track contest?
Well, every time a client gives a rating of 3, 4, or 5 stars or favorites a design in their contest, the design submission limit of a designer increases by 1, 3, and 5, respectively.
Let’s understand it in simple words here:
- For a 3-star or 4-star rating, the designer’s submission limit will increase by 1.
- For a 5-star rating, the design submission limit will increase by 3.
- And, if the client favorites a design entry, the limit will increase by 5.
3-star or 4-star rating = submission limit increased by 1
5-star rating = submission limit increased by 3
Favorite = submission limit increased by 5
NOTE: In case a designer receives a 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star rating on a design (Z, for example) and also gets a favorite (heart-shaped icon), then the submission limit will increase by 5. (Only the highest rating will be counted in that case).
