How can I edit the symbol in my logo?

Designhill gives you the ability to make various changes to the symbol be it color, spacing, font family or position.

Changing the color of your symbol

1. Select the logo from Saved logos (Saved logos section can be reached by clicking on the Menu icon in the top-right corner of your screen.)
2. Click on “Edit Colors” button.
3. Click on “Symbol” button. 
4. You can enter a hex value for a specific color shade in the “Custom Color” field or click on the round color button next to it, to open a color picker.
5. You can even click on any of the color balls to open different shades of that color for your symbol.
6. If you are still confused and need some help to pick the right color for your symbol, click on the “Color Variations” button where you will get thousands of color combinations identified by Designhill. Click on any of the pre-added color balls to open color variation for your symbol. 
7. Once you find the right color for your symbol, click on "Update to this" button to save the changes.
8. You can click on "Preview" button open the preview mode to see how your logo would look on business cards, sign boards, social media, storefront signs and much more.

Adjust Symbol spacing

1. Select the logo you want to edit
2. Click on “Edit Symbol” button.
3. Slide the pointer left or right in the "Symbol Distance" bar to adjust the distance between the symbol and the company name. As you move the pointer, your changes are automatically saved. 
4. You can click on "Preview" button open the preview mode to see how your logo would look on business cards, sign boards, social media, storefront signs and much more.

Resize symbol

1. Select the logo you would like to edit.
2. Click on “Edit Symbol” button.
3. Slide the pointer left or right in the "Symbol Size" bar to adjust the size of the symbol. Once you find the perfect size for your logo, fix the pointer and your changes are automatically saved. 
4. You can click on "Preview" button open the preview mode to see how your logo would look on business cards, sign boards, social media, storefront signs and much more.

Choose a different symbol

1. Select the logo you would like to edit.
2. Click on the “Edit Symbol” button.
3. Click on “Change Symbol” button
4. Enter a keyword in the text field to and press on “Search” button to search through our massive inventory of symbols. 
5. Your logo will appear on different symbols as per your search. Click on "Update to this" button on the symbol you want to finalise. 
6. You can click on "Preview" button open the preview mode to see how your logo would look on business cards, sign boards, social media, storefront signs and much more.

Change symbol position

1. Select the logo you would like to edit.
2. Click on the “Edit Symbol” button.
3. You can set the position of the symbol by clicking on any of the 4 buttons e.g. above the company name, below the company name, left of the company name or right of the company name. 
4. You can click on "Preview" button open the preview mode to see how your logo would look on business cards, sign boards, social media, storefront signs and much more.
