A guide to using EPS files
You need to use an EPS vector file if:
- You want to make changes to your logo, or
- A printer requests an EPS file.
You can open EPS vector file using tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InkScape and Sketch. Although most Macs will be capable to open and view such files, but if you’re using a Windows OS, you may need one of the tools mentioned above to open and view your EPS files.
A guide to using SVG files
Since SVG vector are layered files, they are easily editable. You can use SVG files in Sketch and Adobe Illustrator. These files can also be used in GIMP and in CSS enabled sites. They need to apply directly into the code. Unlike a PNG file, these files are little complex. You may need to seek help of a web developer to apply this change directly into the codes.
